  I really like this.

  I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula and the best escape from daily routine was the Bainbridge - Seattle ferry.

  I’d walk up to Pike Place for cheap the lunch specials, take a bus for back alley coffee at Alegra in the U. District, walk around on Capitol Hill and race back to the Colman Dock in time for the 5:30 sailing home.

  I miss water, mountains, and the seagulls that circle the boat all the way across the sound, begging for fries or half a granola bar.
